NEW DELHI: India will be celebrating the Childrens Day or Bal Diwas on November 14 on the occasion of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's birth anniversary. Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of the nation, nurtured scholastic influence, love for nature and fellow-beings particularly, for children. He had a clear vision of what modern India should look like and he set out to realise his dreams by establishing strong pillars which would support the young nation. The future of our nation depends on our children, with this realisation, Pandit Nehru proposed, when provided adequate opportunity and guidance, the children of the country will show immense potential to contribute to society and humanity. Pandit Nehru always took the initiative for proper education and guidance for children.
